We all have them, CPU fans, but does anyone know how to oil or grease them up so they aren't noisy? Without having to take the whole computer apart?

when i used to run my comp 24/7 i used a water cooler Wink they are grate

yeah, water cooling is the future, but fans are still recommended with water cooling. .

bigger fans is the only way to (with fans) reduce noise.

They can run slower because they are bigger and move more air with less effort.

big fans can push more air while running at lower speeds... lower speeds mean less noise...
